The Equipment Service Technician is responsible for repair, regular maintenance, setup, and teardown of Precision Rental’s surface equipment, wellsite and camp units, and generator buildings.

DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wellsite trailers and camp units, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, satellite receivers, and minor carpentry
- Conduct oil changes and minor generator/engine repairs, along with maintenance of pumps, tanks (400 bbl, horizontal invert/brine), and testing of 3” and 4” hoses
- Install, rig in/out, repair, and maintain oilfield equipment across various leases, including accommodations, tanks, generator buildings, hoses, vacuum units, and centrifuges
- Complete general shop duties, including cleaning, repairing, painting equipment, and other assigned tasks
- Travel as required, including occasional out‑of‑town work, with the ability to work overtime and participate in an on‑call rotation
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- High School Diploma required; post‑secondary education or vocational/technical training considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a current Driver’s Abstract
- Current safety certifications required, including WHMIS, TDG, H2S, CSO, and First Aid
- Strong commitment to safety, with an excellent safety record, positive attitude, and strong work ethic; able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills, with prior experience in a similar role considered an asset
