The Field Training Coach is responsible for coaching, mentoring, and training field employees to build competencies in hazard identification, risk mitigation, and safe, efficient rig operations through hands‑on, in‑field support. This role works directly alongside crews to reinforce Precision’s standards and operates on a 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off rotational schedule.

DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Travel to rig sites to provide hands on coaching and training while working directly alongside field crews
- Reinforce safe work practices by conducting Work Instruction and Hazard Assessment reviews and observing task execution
- Train crews on key safety processes, including Step Back and SOV, and support effective use of operational tools (e.g., Unvired)
- Develop crew competencies through on the job training, technical skill development, and in field performance assessments
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, communication, and safety, while supporting training initiatives and compliance requirements
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education and field experience as a Driller or above preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract and required safety certifications (Well Control, H2S, First Aid, Fall Protection, Rig Rescue, Confined Space)
- Proven experience in training, coaching, and mentoring field personnel with a strong safety record
- Strong knowledge of drilling operations, equipment, and performance optimization, with an understanding of company standards and HSE practices
- Effective communicator with strong organizational, time management, and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SuccessFactors)
