This position will assist the Manager/Supervisor with month-end reporting, yearly and quarterly budgets, year-end audit processes, and daily reporting and internal controls.

DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Complete monthly account analysis (including Intercompany), prepare Rig Review statements, analyze business trends, and provide recommendations to support performance
- Prepare and post advanced journal entries, accruals, and corrections; perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure accurate coding of revenue and costs
- Prepare GST/PST returns, assist with year-end reporting for Tax, Audit, and Corporate Accounting, and ensure adherence to SOX and internal controls
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and accounting process documentation
- Work with Accounts Payable, Billing, Payroll, and other departments to ensure accuracy, provide reporting tools (Excel spreadsheets/graphs), and perform other tasks as assigned
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- 3-5 years of accounting experience required and/or a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience required
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Organized with an ability to balance multiple projects in the face of competing priorities
