Applicants must be available for a non-negotiable start date of Monday, May 5, 2025

Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Applicants must have housing accommodations or transportation in the Nisku area, as Precision does not provide internship housing.

By May 5, 2025, applicants must have completed at least their first year of study in a post-secondary program or technical Institute (see job posting).
Summary
This internship will provide valuable, real-world experience by supporting the Asset Integrity and QMS team. The intern will gain experience in the maintenance of systems, business processes, master data quality checks, document management, and controls.
Responsibilities

Analysis and reconciliation of Master Data, including equipment records, maintenance plans, measuring points/ documents, and task lists to ensure accurate data for Asset Lifecycle costing and Asset Performance management

Exception and compliance reporting on rig equipment documentation, preventive maintenance and corrective work, consumption of materials

Cleansing and reconciliation of data for decommissioned and disposed equipment

Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for asset integrity and preventive maintenance programs to ensure that the internal processes within the organization meet the needs of the business
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to analyze large amounts of data and perform master data cleansing
Ability to analyze, interpret, and demonstrate attention to detail when reviewing data and looking for areas of improvement
Quickly learn and understand all aspects of a system and its sub-systems
Positive attitude to cope with challenges and show initiative. interact positively and work effectively with others
Ability to work effectively without much guidance – a self-starter
Education
Must be pursuing or have just completed a 4-year degree program, a focus on business or statistics would be considered an asset, but is not required
Experience
Excellent MS Office Suite software knowledge - especially Microsoft Excel for the following functionality

V lookups

Conditional (IF) function, conditional formatting, dropdowns, groupings, etc.

Pivot Tables/ Pivot charts
Excellent research and analysis skills
Knowledge of SharePoint and SAP Plant Maintenance is a plus
