The Claims & Benefits Administrator provides essential administrative support for work‑related and non–work‑related claims and daily benefits administration. By ensuring accurate data entry, timely documentation, and effective information coordination, this role supports the Claims Coordinator and Benefits team in maintaining efficient, compliant, and employee‑focused processes.

DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Complete accurate and timely data entry for WCB, disability, and modified work claims while maintaining organized, confidential claim files
- Monitor WCB claim timelines, follow up on outstanding documentation, and document all claim‑related communications and updates
- Verify, process, and reconcile invoices related to WCB claims, ensuring accuracy prior to approval or payment
- Manage Back‑to‑Work email communications, responding to inquiries promptly and professionally
- Provide administrative support to the Claims Coordinator and Benefits team, including reporting, documentation preparation, and information coordination
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Diploma or degree in a related field is an asset, with 1–3 years of administrative experience preferred in HR, benefits, claims, or disability management; equivalent education and experience will be considered
- Basic knowledge of WCB processes, including claim reporting, documentation requirements, and timelines
- Strong computer and documentation skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams), accurate data entry, and real‑time notetaking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑service mindset and the ability to remain professional in sensitive situations
- Highly organized, adaptable, and detail‑oriented team player able to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining confidentiality
