The following restrictions apply to all internship candidates:  

  • Applicants must be available for a non-negotiable start date of Wednesday May 7, 2025 

  • Applicants must be 18 years or older. 

  • Applicants must have housing accommodations or transportation in the Calgary area, as Precision does not provide internship housing.  

  • By May 5, 2025, applicants must have completed at least their first year of study in a post-secondary program/Technical Institute (see job posting).   

 
Summary  

This internship will give the intern valuable, real-world experience, as well as provide support to the Finance team. The intern will gain exposure to various functions within Finance/Accounting and participate in projects to support initiatives. 

 

Responsibilities  

  • Assist with the preparation of month-end processes and entries  

  • Assist with the preparation of mid-month account reconciliations 

  • Performing ad hoc analysis 

  • Other duties as requested by management

Education  

Must be pursuing, or recently graduated from a post-secondary degree or diploma with an accounting or finance focus 

 

Experience  

Must possess strong knowledge of business software applications (MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) 

Knowledge of SAP or other large company ERP a plus
