- Applicants must have housing accommodations or transportation in the Calgary area, as Precision does not provide internship housing.
- By May 4, 2026, applicants must have completed at least their first year of study in a post-secondary program/Technical Institute (see job posting).
Summary
Reporting to the Senior Human Resource Business Partner, the Human Resources Intern supports the Human Resources department by completing value-added tasks and by providing effective customer service to our leadership and employees.
Responsibilities
Provide support to all areas of Human Resources, with a focus on Employee Relations & Talent Acquisition
Complete Human Resource administrative tasks such as drafting employment and status change letters etc.
Maintain Employee Records and file employment records
Build and maintain Job Descriptions, Job Requisitions, and follow through on Job Posting Status
Onboard new employees through Success Factors and ensure the New Hires' first week of onboarding is successful
Peer reviewing offer letters
Follow up with managers for outstanding documents and system approvals
Continuous Process Improvement - Advise and create more efficient administrative processes and forms
Coordinate and schedule meetings and events
Participate in ongoing and ad-hoc human resource projects, including the revision of pre-existing templates, standard Operating Procedure documents

Intermediate level competency - MS products

Education
Pursuing a Diploma/Certificate or Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Management is required
Experience
1 year of relevant HR experience or a strong Customer Service background is preferred
Experience working in a professional office environment
