Summary
Precision Drilling is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our team in supporting its loader operations. This is a full-time position based out of Rostel Industries, Calgary, Alberta.
Responsibilities
- Operation of wheel loader & oversized forklift
- Perform various loader operations
- Daily maintenance checks of the loader
- Loading and unloading of trucks and equipment
- Facilitate the movement of materials between various locations
- Assist in the facilitation of Precision’s safety programs
- Movement and coordination of equipment within the yard and into the facility
- Assist co-workers and supervisors with material organization
- Other general yard tasks and duties as required
- Requirement to work overtime as needed and be available after hours/on-call to support load-outs
- Familiarization with internal/external company documentation
- Must be willing to work in and participate in a safety-conscious environment
- Must be motivated and have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Candidate must have a positive attitude with the ability to work & communicate well with others and on their own
- Must be a self-starter, able to meet performance targets of the department and in accordance with company values and objectives

Education
Minimum High School Diploma
Experience
2-3 years experience operating medium to large-sized wheel loaders (e.g., Hyundai HL970, Cat 966, Doosan, etc.)
Loader operator ticket or certification
Forklift certificate and experience required
Winch truck/bed truck experience is an asset
