The SAP HCM Functional Analyst is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP HCM solutions, including payroll, benefits, time management, and HR processes for Canadian and U.S. operations. This role combines strong business partnership and technical expertise to deliver system enhancements, ensure compliance, support end users, and drive continuous improvement across Precision Drilling’s SAP HCM environment.

DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Configure, support, and optimize SAP S/4HANA HCM modules, including Payroll, Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Benefits, Time Management, and CATS for Canadian and U.S. operations
- Support end-to-end payroll and benefits processes, including payroll configuration, statutory compliance, year-end activities, deductions, taxes, and benefits administration
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 functional support, troubleshoot system issues, resolve payroll and data discrepancies, and deliver end-user guidance and training.
- Lead requirements gathering, testing, documentation, release management, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting integrations with SuccessFactors, Workforce Software, Finance, and third-party systems
- Monitor regulatory changes, maintain system compliance and performance, collaborate with business and technical teams to implement enhancements and automations, and effectively balance project delivery, production support, and continuous improvement priorities
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- 5+ years of SAP HCM/HR configuration experience, including participation in at least three full-cycle SAP HR implementations
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Payroll, Management Information Systems, or a related field; SuccessFactors experience preferred, and Workforce Software experience is an asset
- Strong expertise in SAP Payroll, including payroll schemas, calculation rules, wage types, retroactive processing, payroll analysis, and statutory compliance.
- Experience supporting year-end payroll activities, system integrations, testing, upgrades, and regulatory updates in complex payroll environments
- Strong analytical, customer service, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a collaborative, fastpaced environment
