DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Create and maintain SAP roles/profiles, user IDs, and custom authorization objects; implement and tune GRC Access Control (A&E, EAM, BRM)
  • Develop and enforce security baselines and authorization concepts
  • Resolve SAP security issues across multiple environments
  • Translate business requirements into robust authorization concepts and security baselines across SAP modules and BTP services, with scalability in mind
  • Identify risks, design mitigating/compensating controls, and support audit activities; maintain SoD rulesets and remediation processes
  • Troubleshoot security issues across SAP environments; monitor and continuously improve workflows for user provisioning, role transport, and emergency access
  • Partner with Basis, Functional, and Development teams to deliver secure solutions (e.g., upgrades, customizations, migrations, new integrations); produce concise diagrams and documentation
  • Propose enhancements to processes and tools that strengthen control effectiveness, optimize user experience, and reduce provisioning time, while utilizing standard SAP functionalities and automation

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field; 5+ years in SAP security administration and design
  • Strong knowledge of SAP authorization concepts, role design, SoD compliance; hands-on experience with GRC Access Control, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP Cloud Identity Service; exposure to IDM/IAG, SSO, MFA
  • Experience with GRC implementation, security redesign projects; familiarity with compliance frameworks; SAP security certifications considered an asset
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal), documentation, time management, multitasking, and ability to work independently or collaboratively; strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, eager to learn and assist others, able to work with diverse personalities, and document technical standards and policies effectively
