The Senior Compensation Specialist will be responsible for the implementation and administration of Precision’s compensation programs, including executive analysis, job evaluations, annual reviews, development of HR statistics and metrics reports, market assessments, and salary surveys.



  • Assist in the preparation of materials for the Human Resources and Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors related to director fees, executive compensation, and short-term/long-term incentive programs.
  • Supports team with reports on compensation market trends through research and analysis of formal and informal salary surveys, government statistics, and other research methods.
  • Assist in the management of annual salary survey participation and data collection and provide a summary of findings.
  • Assist with the administration of our market pricing, annual salary review, and salary data management system.
  • Assist in the administration of short-term incentives, long-term incentives, and employee share purchase programs.
  • Maintain and develop the organization’s salary and hourly pay structures.
  • Advise HR business partners and talent management on the interpretation of compensation procedures.
  • Liaise with HRIS function to ensure compensation data integrity.
  • Assist in the rollout and communication of changes to compensation programs and policies.
  • Design and produce key performance and compensation metrics reports and other statistical reports aligned with business needs to support Human Resources and Management decision-making.
  • Provide support for HR projects, business-driven projects, and initiatives that encompass any and all aspects of compensation management and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business partners to ensure solutions support business unit requirements.

SAP experience preferred.

SuccessFactors experience preferred.

Solium experience is considered an asset.

Excellent computer skills, with a strong foundation in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Proven ability to make presentations to both small and large groups.

Proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary projects and work in a collaborative manner.

Display a high degree of confidentiality and professional judgment; must exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with both internal and external contacts; and,

A positive, friendly manner and customer service approach will enable the successful candidate to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity.



University degree in business with a specialization in HR, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Business Administration.



5+ years of experience in compensation preferred.

Corporate and/or consulting experience would be considered.

Executive compensation planning experience is preferred.

Stock plan administration experience preferred.

Analytical/business-focused experience is preferred.
