The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for supporting daily shipping, receiving, material handling, and inventory activities to ensure the efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. This role helps maintain a safe, organized, and accurate warehouse environment while supporting operational and customer requirements through effective material management and logistics coordination.

DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Prepare, pick, pack, and process domestic and international shipments, including waybills and shipping documentation
- Receive, verify, label, and store materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and stock locations
- Safely load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse and yard through routine inspections, counts, and inventory control activities
- Follow safety and inventory procedures, communicate shipment or inventory issues proactively, and support daily warehouse priorities to meet operational requirements
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical education is an asset
- 1-2 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or materials handling experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and freight documentation processes
- Forklift certification and experience required; experience with loaders, metals manufacturing, SAP, or Microsoft Office is an asset
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to safely manage inventory, documentation, and material handling activities in a fast-paced environment
