Summary

Precision Drilling is seeking an experienced shop Supervisor to join our team in supporting its coatings & yard department. This full-time position is based out of Rostel Industries, Calgary, Alberta.

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all existing and incoming work for the Coatings dept.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on project status and anticipated deliveries
  • Team lead for Coatings and Yard personnel
  • Assist procurement with RFQ’s for all required paint and consumables 
  • Organization of the yard and material storage
  • Operation of wheel loader & oversized forklift
  • Loading/unloading of trucks and large equipment
  • Facilitate the movement of materials between various locations
  • Familiarization with internal/external Company documentation
  • Assist in the facilitation of Precision’s safety programs
  • Additional yard/coatings duties as required
  • Overtime and on-call duties as required

Education

A minimum of a High School Diploma is required

 

Experience

Minimum 1-2 years in a lead hand or equivalent position

2-3 years experience operating medium to large-sized wheel loaders (e.g., Hyundai HL970, Cat 966, Doosan, etc.)

Winch truck/bed truck experience a benefit
