Summary

The Team Lead, HCM Success Factors, will be responsible for managing the SAP HCM group. The Lead must be hands-on, participating in the implementation and support of the SuccessFactors modules for Precision Drilling Corporation’s various divisions while also managing the growth and focus of team members. They must have a strong understanding of SuccessFactors and HR processes to plan, implement, and supervise activities in coordination with IT partners and business partners.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide direction to the HCM team supporting business operations
  • Conduct performance reviews and goal setting, providing timely feedback, and identifying skill development opportunities for the managed team
  • Provide team leadership, coaching to address performance issues, and mentoring
  • Configure and support SuccessFactors suite of products - Employee Central, Onboarding, Recruiting, Performance & Goals, Learning, Compensation & Variable Pay
  • Ensure a firm grasp of integration between Employee Central and SAP S/4HANA as well as SAP PA/OM configuration
  • Provide functional SAP and business expertise to help support business objectives for Canadian, USA, and International divisions
  • Provide second and third-level end-user functional support and guidance
  • Perform unit, integration, parallel, and acceptance tests
  • Create SAP HCM deliverables, including the preparation of requirements documentation for business processes, functional requirements, specifications, documentation of reports, interfaces, and enhancements; create and execute test scripts; prepare and deliver end-user documentation and training
  • Provide in-depth SAP and SuccessFactors product knowledge to help support business and project objectives
  • Configure the SuccessFactors modules according to new or changing business requirements
  • Liaise with HR users to identify and manage system priorities
  • Recommend process improvements and system solutions to assist business objectives
  • Assist the Technical Development Team members in designing and testing interfaces, enhancements, reports, and data conversions

Education

Related post-secondary degree or college equivalent in Information Systems

 

Experience

At least 2 years in a leadership role

5+ years of SuccessFactors system administration experience in Employee Central, Onboarding, Recruiting, Performance and goals, Learning, and Compensation

Experience with technical configuration of the interface between SuccessFactors and SAP

Experience with SAP HCM configuration is an asset

Experience with integration between SuccessFactors and SAP is an asset
