Summary

The Technical Sales Representative – EverGreen role will drive EverGreen sales to meet or exceed targets, build and manage customer relationships with a comprehensive understanding of their strategic and operational priorities, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

 

Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation – Collaborate with Sales teams to initiate contact with potential EverGreen customers, identify leads and actively search for new business opportunities. Attend as support for applicable customer meetings and presentations. Responsible for day-to-day sales call support on EverGreen Solutions.

 

Technology Marketing – Develop an in-depth understanding of all EverGreen solutions, showcase features and benefits with proficiency in explaining how it addresses customer needs via presentations, conversations, etc. Collaborate with marketing team to maintain up-to-date information and continually improve sales materials (presentations, brochures, case studies, etc.). Participate in the creation, maintenance and implementation of the marketing plan.

 

Negotiation & Closing – Collaborate with sales team to negotiate terms, prices, etc. to reach mutually beneficial agreement. Manage and continually improve contract “templates” across EverGreen solutions.

 

Build & Maintain Customer Relationships – Act as daily bridge between internal stakeholders (operations, optimization, sales, etc.) and customers for product implementation, planning, support, ongoing development and review to ensure HP/HV service delivery. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing & new customers, fielding and managing customer requests, facilitating issue resolution and follow up discussions. Work with the optimization team for continuous development of KPI’s and flow through of KPI’s to customers (and rig sales rep).

 

Reporting & Forecasting – Track and report sales activities and results, manage customer opportunity pipeline, assist in forecasting/budgeting process, ensure billings/finance is aware of any new deployments, etc.

 

Market Research & Analysis – Stay up to date with industry advancements, market changes, customer preferences and collaborate with product development teams to ensure alignment between market demands and product offerings.

 

Knowledge & Skills

The ideal candidate will have considerable Oil and Gas industry experience, a good working knowledge of land drilling operations, and a strong understanding of how technology and automation are currently being utilized throughout the drilling industry.

Must be highly motivated, possess excellent communication skills, and able to lead by example

A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills

Proven systematic and organized approach to multitasking

Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, and e-mail

Ability to adapt to and learn fast new software

Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines

A high degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability

 

Education

BS Degree in Science, Engineering or Business Administration would be considered an asset.

 

Experience

5+ years of relevant Sales working experience
