The Equipment Service Technician performs maintenance, repair, installation, and removal of Precision Rental’s wellsite accommodations, surface equipment, and generator buildings. This role supports both field and shop operations, requiring occasional travel, operating heavy equipment, and participation in overtime and oncall rotations.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wellsite trailers and camp units, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, satellite systems, and light carpentry.
  • Service and maintain equipment such as generators, engines, pumps, tanks, hoses, and fluid handling systems.
  • Transport, install, rig in/out, and repair wellsite accommodations and oilfield equipment across multiple lease locations.
  • Rig in, rig out, repair, and maintain solids control equipment including Centrifuges, Gorman Rupp Pumps, motors, various sizes of hose, and VFD Panels. Ensuring equipment is maintained to current company standards
  • Clean, inspect, repair, and paint equipment while supporting general shop operations as needed.
  • Operate heavy equipment and meet operational requirements, including required overtime, participation in an on-call rotation, and travel (including occasional out-of-town work).

 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • High School Diploma required; postsecondary, vocational, or technical training is an asset.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a current Driver’s Abstract.
  • Current safety certifications (WHMIS, TDG, H2S, CSO, First Aid) and a strong commitment to safe work practices.
  • Selfmotivated team player with a positive attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills.
