The Solids Control Technician is responsible for maintenance of the Precision Rentals Solids Control Product Line and associated equipment both in the shop and field.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Rig in, rig out, repair, and maintain solids control equipment including Centrifuges, Gorman Rupp Pumps, motors, various sizes of hose, and VFD Panels. Ensuring equipment is maintained to current company standards. As well as other shop tasks as assigned.
  • Completion of timely and accurate paperwork, including daily safety meetings and work orders, as well as weekly routine maintenance and service checklists 
  • Setting the standard of safety excellence by working with management to ensure Precision continues as a leader in safety (“Life Saving Actions”) 
  • Support rig-up and maintenance of a wide variety of rental equipment as part of the Precision Rentals team
  • Be available for overtime and participate in an on-call rotation

 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Proven mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with equipment maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving processes
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and email; good written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with centrifuge/mud systems
