The Purchaser is responsible for fulfilling demand requirements while ensuring the timely and accurate procurement of materials. This role maintains strong communication with operating centers and customers to address product specifications, pricing, order status, and supply chain issues, while identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.

DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Review and process purchase orders for accuracy, ensuring correct materials, pricing, and vendor selection
- Procure stocked and non‑stock materials, track order status, and ensure timely delivery and completion
- Coordinate with Accounting, warehouse teams, and vendors to resolve order discrepancies and support smooth operations
- Support inventory management, including stock returns, cycle counts, and identifying new inventory requirements
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, supporting sales documentation, and participating in after‑hours on‑call rotation
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Degree or diploma in a related field considered an asset; prior oilfield supply experience preferred
- Working knowledge of SAP and general computer systems; familiarity with oilfield consumables, hydraulic hoses, and fittings
- Strong ability to build and maintain customer and vendor relationships
- Excellent communication, organization, and time‑management skills with strong attention to detail
- Positive team player with a strong commitment to safety and a collaborative work environment
