The Contracts Specialist supports the Legal and Sales teams by preparing, reviewing, and managing customer contracts, amendments, proposals, and related documentation while ensuring accuracy and alignment with company risk standards. This role collaborates cross‑functionally to improve contract processes, track key contract milestones, maintain contract databases, and provide timely, detail‑oriented support in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Collaborate with Legal, Sales, and internal stakeholders to prepare customer proposals, pre‑qualification documents, contracts, amendments, and related legal documentation
- Review and process customer contract edits, identifying risks, ensuring compliance with company risk standards, and escalating issues when needed
- Support contract management processes by maintaining accurate records, tracking renewals and expirations, and improving efficiency and compliance
- Manage contract documentation within CRM systems, shared drives, and databases, ensuring information is organized, accurate, and easily accessible
- Assist with reporting, audits, billing support, and miscellaneous requests while providing responsive, cross‑functional support to Legal, Sales, Finance, and other teams
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Post‑secondary education required with 1–3 years of experience in a similar role; oilfield services experience is an asset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Detail‑oriented professional with proven problem‑solving, proofreading, and process‑improvement capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and support internal and external customers
- Proficient in CRM, SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, and Word, comfortable learning new systems, and committed to professionalism, confidentiality, and continuous development
