Field Development Coordinator

The Field Development Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the effective administration and coordination of training programs for field employees. This role combines strong organizational and data management skills with a focus on customer service and a proactive approach to how training is delivered and experienced.

 

This role requires strong collaboration with field employees and other departments to ensure training is relevant, accessible, and aligned with operational needs.

 

 

DAY IN THE LIFE: 

 

  • Coordinate, schedule, and track employee training in the LMS; maintain accurate records and distribute certifications.

  • Communicate training updates, schedules, and requirements to employees, field leaders, and external vendors.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with Rig Managers, field personnel, internal teams, and training partners to ensure consistent training delivery.

  • Monitor and reconcile training budgets, expenses, and purchase requests to ensure financial accuracy.

  • Create and support the development of training materials, internal communications, and digital content to enhance learner engagement.

  • Analyze training data, identify needs, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes, tools, and learner experience.

 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: 

  • Diploma in Business Administration or related field would be an asset but not required
  • 2–5 years of experience in a coordinator or support role related to training or learning systems administration
  • Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors (preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with creative media or e-learning tools such as Vyond, Captivate, or Canva is an asset
