HSE Administrator

The HSE Administrator is responsible for supporting the administrative needs of the US HSE Department. Responsibilities include:

 

  • Provide timely and accurate entry and verification of monthly & quarterly safety data
  • Run multiple types of queries and present data as requested from the SAP HSE business system and other HSE applications
  • Prepare documents and presentations for monthly HSE and operational meetings
  • Produce monthly rig-specific reports showing statistical information and equipment tracking
  • Maintain customer-required contractor information registry accounts (ISNetworld, Veriforce, ComplyWorks, etc.), inputting information, assigning orientations, managing insurance certificates, WCB rates, etc.)
  • Provide and prepare HSE stats and information to the sales and marketing team for customer requests, bids, and questionnaires
  • Coordinate regularly and consistently with the HSE Business Analyst team on all aspects of data entry, data extraction, dashboards, performance metrics, processes, forms, data, and reporting
  • Assist in the preparation, formatting, and proofread of various documents as required
  • Develop, edit, order, and distribute HSE-related materials as required
  • Process invoices for the HSE Department upon receipt
  • Attend meetings and provide meeting minutes as required

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong PowerPoint development skills, graphic design experience a plus
  • Experience in SAP or other business management systems preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written
  • Motivation to develop skills associated with administration and safety
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks daily
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed information (through written skills and data entry)
  • Strong level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, take direction, and within a team

 

Education

  • High School Diploma is required
  • Post-secondary degree is considered an asset

 

Experience

  • Two years of experience in a similar role is preferred
  • HSE (Safety) administration experience preferred
  • Previous experience at an oil and gas or industrial company an asset
  • Previous office administration experience may be considered for the right candidate
