The following restrictions apply to all internship candidates:  

  • Applicants must be available for a non-negotiable start date of Monday May 19, 2025 

  • Applicants must be 18 years or older. 

  • Applicants must have housing accommodations or transportation in the Houston area, as Precision does not provide internship housing.  

  • By May 5, 2025, applicants must have completed at least their first year of study in a post-secondary program/Technical Institute (see job posting).   

 
Summary  

The responsibilities of a Supply Chain Management (SCM) intern typically involve supporting various aspects of supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, and analysis. Provide analysis on vendor spend and provide summaries.   

 

Responsibilities  

  • Create spend analysis reports for key vendors of Precision Drilling  

  • Create info records for different materials from different vendors 

  • Develop a BI Report on spend analysis for key vendors 

  • Assist the supply chain team with Ad Hoc reports   

  • Demand planning for rig equipment or consumables 

 

Knowledge & Skills  

Computer skills (SAP, Word, Excel, Power BI)  

Analytical skills  

Good communication skills, both written and verbal 

Ability to multi-task and manage time appropriately.  

Detail oriented  

A team player and collaborative worker with a positive attitude  

 

Education  

Completed or currently pursuing a College or University degree in Supply Chain Management  

 

Experience  

Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience with supporting supply chain operations. Experience can be acquired through lectures and labs.
