Applicants must be available for a non-negotiable start date of Monday May 19, 2025

Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Applicants must have housing accommodations or transportation in the Houston area, as Precision does not provide internship housing.

By May 5, 2025, applicants must have completed at least their first year of study in a post-secondary program/Technical Institute (see job posting).
Summary
The responsibilities of a Supply Chain Management (SCM) intern typically involve supporting various aspects of supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, and analysis. Provide analysis on vendor spend and provide summaries.
Responsibilities

Create spend analysis reports for key vendors of Precision Drilling

Create info records for different materials from different vendors
-
Develop a BI Report on spend analysis for key vendors

Assist the supply chain team with Ad Hoc reports
-
Demand planning for rig equipment or consumables
Knowledge & Skills
Computer skills (SAP, Word, Excel, Power BI)
Analytical skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to multi-task and manage time appropriately.
Detail oriented
A team player and collaborative worker with a positive attitude
Education
Completed or currently pursuing a College or University degree in Supply Chain Management
Experience
Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience with supporting supply chain operations. Experience can be acquired through lectures and labs.
