The Manager, Human Resources serves as a strategic advisor, aligning business objectives with leaders and employees while delivering proactive, frontline HR support. This role partners closely with management and the broader HR team to address employee needs, drive engagement, and support organizational priorities.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Lead, coach, and develop HR business partners while overseeing integrated HR service delivery
  • Partner with regional leadership and operations to support business objectives and workforce planning
  • Oversee HR policies, programs, and practices, ensuring compliance with employment laws and standards
  • Manage complex HR programs and issues, including employee relations, mobility, immigration, and terminations
  • Drive effective communication, collaboration, reporting, metrics, and budget planning across HR stakeholders

 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years of people management in a comparably sized organization
  • Strong working knowledge of employment, wage, and labor laws, with sound judgment and ethical standards
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central strongly preferred; advanced proficiency in MS Office and HR systems (SharePoint, reporting tools)
  • Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and team building capabilities across diverse and complex environments
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
  • Industry experience (oilfield services an asset) with flexibility to travel as required
