Summary

The Talent Management & Learning Specialist, is an experienced learning and development professional and accomplished communicator with a passion for the creation and implementation of innovative solutions to support and augment Precision’s talent management strategy

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct development needs analysis to pinpoint and prioritize requirements
  • Assess current internal leadership, learning and career development offerings to identify opportunities for enhancement and/or consolidation
  • Continually evaluate and analyze progress and results and prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate to key stakeholders
  • Prepare agendas, design course and additional development solutions, prepare materials and detailed instructions and deliver select content
  • Collaborate and effectively communicate across business units, locations, and functional areas
  • Analyze communications platforms and identify opportunities to enhance consistency of messaging related to employee development
  • Create and manage detailed project plans
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, internal clients, and external vendors
  • Coordinate development activities and events, including set up and tracking in the LMS, communicating with participants, preparing materials, and preparing instructors and facilitators
  • Back-end support for the LMS and other SuccessFactors Talent Management modules
  • Communicating with managers, employees, and vendors including answering questions and directing them to the appropriate resources
  • Collaborate with the Talent Management & Learning team along with other HR partners

 

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Advanced instructional design skills preferred;

Demonstrates sound judgment in obtaining solutions;

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources or related field

 

Experience

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a corporate learning & development or talent management role.

Experience with Success Factors or related HRIS system, with emphasis on Learning and Performance modules.

Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft applications

Experienced training needs analysis and course design skills

Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously and demonstrate resilience in a rapidly evolving professional environment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong detail orientation and advanced critical thinking skills
