- Applicants must be available for a non-negotiable start date of Monday May 18, 2026.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Applicants must have housing accommodations or transportation in the Houston area as Precision does not provide internship housing.
- By May 4, 2026, applicants must have completed at least their first year of study in a post-secondary program/Technical Institute (see job posting).
Summary
The Warehousing Intern at the HTSC is required to support our Supply Chain operations and ensure efficient and timely delivered parts to support our US fleet’s repair and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day parts management and process control of inventory and warehouse operations
- Responsible for a clean and safe workspace
- Perform analysis on dead inventory and recommend slow-moving items for disposition
- Identify inventory addition candidates
- Contact vendors, resolve invoice disputes, collect and organize Info Record pricing
- Assist with training documents, est practices, and standards reference materials
- Review, catalogue, and birth inventory from existing parts not held as inventory
- Review Operations requests and create demand cycle and purchase strategies for inventory
- Follow and support all Precision Drilling policies and procedures
- Assisting in identifying workplace hazards
- Maintaining a clean driving record
- Working overtime hours when required, including on-call rotation
- Various other duties as required
Knowledge & Skills
- Microsoft Office
- Organized, communicative, and detailed
- Comfortable holding conversations
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
Education
- Currently enrolled in a university or college and pursuing a degree or designation in Supply Chain or a similar field like Engineering or Business
Experience
- SAP experience considered an asset
- Oilfield experience considered an asset
