- Applicants must be available for a non-negotiable start date of Monday, May 18, 2026.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Applicants must have housing accommodations or transportation in the Houston area, as Precision does not provide internship housing.
- By May 4, 2026, applicants must have completed at least their first year of study in a post-secondary program/Technical Institute (see job posting).
Summary
The responsibilities of a Supply Chain Management (SCM) intern typically involve supporting various aspects of supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, and analysis. Provide analysis on vendor spend and provide summaries.
Responsibilities
- Create spend analysis reports for key vendors of Precision Drilling
- Create info records for various materials from multiple vendors in S/4HANA and the Ariba Sourcing & Contracts module
- Develop BI report on spend analysis for key vendors
- Assist the supply chain team with Ad Hoc reports
- Demand planning for rig equipment or consumables
Knowledge & Skills
- Computer skills (SAP, Word, Excel, Power BI)
- Analytical skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task and manage time appropriately
- Detail oriented
- A team player and collaborative worker with a positive attitude
Education
- Currently enrolled in university or college and pursuing a degree or designation in Supply Chain or a similar field, like Engineering or Business
Experience
- SAP experience considered an asset
- Oilfield experience considered an asset
