The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for accurately picking, packing, receiving, and shipping materials, as well as supporting inventory control and daily warehouse operations. This role helps ensure efficient material flow, safe equipment operation, and reliable support for field and shop activities through strong teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and company standards. This is a full-time, 6-month term position.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Pick, pack, receive, and prepare materials and orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Load, unload, move, and organize inventory using forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Process inventory transactions, goods receipts, and material movements within the ERP system
  • Support inventory control activities, including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and physical inventories
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment while supporting deliveries, identifying hazards, and participating in overtime and oncall rotations as required

 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling environment
  • Strong material handling skills, including forklift operation; previous warehousing experience is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
  • Selfmotivated and dependable, with the ability to manage priorities and work with minimal supervision
