Precision Drilling has an onsite opening for an HSE Superintendent (Roaming-Field based), who will lead the charge on HSE systems, tools, and policies—driving ownership, accountability, and top-tier performance.

DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Provide HSE leadership, coaching, training, and support at all field levels; promote Key Beliefs, Life Saving Actions, and compliance with HSE MS policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement HSE objectives and performance measures during drilling operations; monitor leading/lagging indicators through data, KPIs, assessments, and inspections.
- Ensure hazard identification, risk assessments, and controls are completed and in place for all tasks; observe and verify safe practices during rig activities.
- Participate in and lead onsite HSE activities (safety meetings, hazard hunts, tool use, Dropped Object Prevention audits/inspections) while effectively communicating company initiatives and objectives.
- Support incident management, including reporting, investigations, liaison with HSE/Ops management, and monitoring completion of corrective actions.
- Act as field liaison, maintaining communication with HSE/Field Superintendents and management; ensure employee training currency, report daily, manage expenses.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant oilfield experience with a proven excellent safety record
- 1-3 years of experience in a heavy industry/construction environment (drilling rig experience preferred) with a proven excellent safety record
- Strong communication skills and an ability to work at all levels to implement effective programs.
- Motivated to develop skills associated to HSE professional practices, procedures, and regulations
- Ability to identify and implement improvements
- This role requires on‑call availability and is expected to be performed approximately 80% in the field and 20% in the office.
